5 TROUBLESHOOTING
This chapter describes check points and remedies if any symptom of
trouble in the measuring system is encountered.
5.1 Symptom/Check point/Remedies
Power is not
supplied when
the power
switch is turned
on.
1) Is the AC adapter cable connected
securely?
1) Connect the AC adapter cable
securely.
2) Is power supplied to the power receptacle?
2) Connect another electric appliance
to the receptacle to check for
power supply.
3) Is an AC adapter other than the supplied one
connected?
3) Be sure to use the supplied AC
adapter.
The analysis
software does
not start up
properly.
1) Is the power switch on the measuring unit
turned on?
1) Press the power switch on the
measuring unit to turn on the
power.
2) Is the connecting cable between the
measuring unit and personal computer
connected correctly?
2) Check the cable connection, and
correct it if necessary.
The machine
moved
abruptly.
1) A break may have occurred in the wiring
inside the cabinet or another place.
1) Contact your dealer or the nearest
Mitutoyo sales office/service
center.
