4. Tilting handle
Tilts the measuring main unit, depending on a workpiece, at such an angle that the stylus
can ascend easily.
The tilted angle ranges from +45 to -45 degrees.
5. Angle scale
Indicates a tilted angle.
Adjust the tilted angle of the measuring main unit in such a way that the measuring main
unit rotates to the left (counterclockwise).
• Be careful to prevent the stylus tip from coming into collision with the base unit when
tilting the measuring main unit.
• If the stylus is moved downward while the measuring main unit remains tilted, the stylus
tip may come into collision with the base unit.
• The tilted angle of the measuring main unit is not related to the Part Program. Before
running the Part Program, make sure to tilt the measuring main unit at the same angle
as set in the Part Program.
