Switching Measurement Systems
This product can switch between the following two measurement systems
according to the workpiece to be measured.
Measurement
system
Explanation
Absolute
measurement (ABS)
Sets (presets) the measurement origin and measures
the dimensions of the workpiece. The measurement
origin can be set to any desired value to support a wide
range of workpieces.
Incremental
measurement (INC)
Sets the reference point on the master to serve as
a reference (zeros the displayed value), and then
measuresthedierencebetweenthemasteranda
workpiece.

Switching to absolute measurement (ABS)
Press and hold the [F2] key.

Switching to incremental measurement (INC)
Press the [F2] key.
Tips
The displayed value is simultaneously reset to zero when switching from absolute
measurement (ABS) to incremental measurement (INC).
