The Mx2wire system allows an Ethernet network with PoE
to be set up via two-wire cables, which saves users from
having to lay several hundred meters of Ethernet cable.
For example, an existing two-wire cable of an analog
video camera can be reused to connect a high-resolution
and modern IP network camera. Mx2wire is supplied in
the standard socket frame in dierent designs, however,
it can also be used with the surface-mounted socket
provided.

Universal network connector for installation cable, MOBOTIX
patch cable and standard patch cable (protection class IP65,
–30°C to +60°C/–22°F to +140°F). The PatchBox can be used
to connect the patch cable of an IP device with the network
installation cable (for example, Cat 5) or network patch cable
(RJ45 connector) in a weatherproof manner and fits into the
90 x 90 mm space of the Outdoor Wall Mount (see diagram).
