All D14D models are supplied with power using the PoE standard. The PoE Adapter Set
(MX-NPA-PoE Set) may be used for smaller installations. For larger installations, it is worth
investing in a PoE-capable supply device available on the market. 


Caution
The  of the network cable for power supply over an Ethernet cable
is
100 m.
 such as the NPA Set, Power Box
or Power Rack (MX-NPA-Set, MX-NPR-4 and MX-NPR8/20) are not suitable for use
with the D14D.
Note
The MOBOTIX D14D can be powered by switches or routers that support the PoE
(Power over Ethernet) standard and conform to IEEE 802.3af.

Advantages of centralized backup power supply are available via network
