tightenusinga3mmallenkey.
Withthedogpointlocatedintheshaftmarktheshaftandthelinkplatesuchthatyouare
abletorealignthedogofthesocketsetscrewwhenrequired.
Loosenthesocsetscrewallowingthelinktorotateabouttheshaftandlocatethetop
shoulderboltintothegasstrutendandthelinkplate,tightenusinga3mmallenkey.ref
illustrationbelow.
Usinganadjustableorlargespannerpositionedasshownbelow,compressthegasstrut
untilthesocsetscrewalignswiththeholeintheshaftandtightenthescrew.
Removetheallenkeyandrelocatetoallowatightnesstorqueof2.2Nm.
Releasethecompressionandrechecktorque.
