HavingcompletedthePre-poweredandPoweredsetupthedigifoldneedstohavethe
creaseandfoldpositionscalibrated.Thisisprimarilyconductedusingsoftware
adjustmentswithinthe'tools'menu,however,duringthisprocessyoumayneedtore-
adjustthecreasingmatrixandUpperinputrollerinaccordancewiththedescriptionsstated
below.
Tocompletethiscalibrationprocedureyoushouldfollowthe'CalibrationProcedure'flow
chart(Seepage79).
Toenableanyformofsetuptotakeplaceitisessentialtoperformanapproximatesetupof
thefoldknives.Thisenablesthesheettobeprocessedwithoutbecomingjammedinthe
machine.Youmayneedtore-adjustthefoldtrimslater,butthisiscoveredtowardstheend
oftheflowchart.
Thisinitialsetupisalsoconcernedwithremovinganysheetsteercausedbythefoldrollers.
Ifthesheetisnotfoldinginhalfsquarely,thentheupperinputrollerwillneedtobeadjusted
tocompensate.
Toadjusttheupperinputrollerfollowthisprocedure.
Loosenthetwooperatorsidehousingscrews(M5setscrews).
Adjustthelaysidehousingusingtheshaftflatsontheoperatorend.
TemporarilytightenONEoftheop.sidehousingsetscrews(thetopone).
Re-checkforsheetsteer.(foldinhalftest)
Repeat1to3untilnosteeringtakesplace.
Tightenbothoftheop.sidehousingscrews(M5setscrews).
Ifthelaysidehousingisadjusted,itmaybenecessarytolowerorraisetheentireupper
inputrollersoensuretheloosestsidehassufficient'grip'onasingle80gsmteststrip.If
thisisadjusted,itwillbenecessarytore-checkforsheetsteer.
