AnEngineeringCalibrationPlug(PartNumber90-046)willberequiredtoenableaccesstothe
AdvancedToolsSectionoftheDisplayScreenandanadequatesupplyofDigiFoldTestSheets
(PartNumber170-004-01)shouldbemadeavailableformanyoftheset-upprocedures.
TheControlSystemcomprisesmanycomponents,includingPowerSupplies&CircuitBoards,
someofwhichrequiresomedegreeofsettingoradjustment.Thissectiondescribesthe
proceduresrequiredtocarryoutthiswork.
ConnectthemachinetoasuitableMainsSupply&PowerUpbyreleasingtheStop
SwitchontheFrontPanel.TheDisplayPanelwillinitiallyshowthe‘Areyoutrained
screen.It'sworthmakinganoteoftheSoftwarerevisiontoensureit'sthe
latestavailableforthemachinebuildlevel,checkthisbygoingtothetoolsmenu
andoperatingtheinformationbutton.
ThereisoneDualStepperDriveBoardandthreesingleStepperDriveBoards,
locatedonthelowersectionoftheElectronicsPanel.Theseboardsarefittedwith

switchesmustbesetinaccordancewiththecorrectCircuitDiagramissueforthe
SerialNumberofthemachinebeingsetup.(SeeDigifoldWiringDiagrams)

shouldbesettotheappropriatelevelasshownontheCircuitDiagram.Thecontrolsfor
thesesettingsarelocatedonthetoplefthandcornerofeachsupplyandmaybe
adjustedusingasmallinsulatedelectricalscrewdriver.Itwillbenecessarytooperate
theSystemSwitchontheFrontPanel&useasuitableVoltMetertodothis.
