Preconditions
☑Engine is stopped and starting disabled.
Startup
Item Action
Lube oil system Check engine oil level (→ Page 99).
Coolant circuit Check engine coolant level (→ Page 108).
Coolant circuit Preheat engine coolant with coolant preheating unit, if fitted.
Fuel prefilter (if fitted) Drain water, see manufacturer's documentation.
Engine control system Switch on.
