Preparatory steps
1. Shut off fuel supply line.
2. Drain fuel (→ Page 86).
3. Remove engine control system (→ Page 129).
4. Remove charge-air pipes and take off seals (only on engines with air-to-charge-air cooling).
5. Remove fuel return line.
