Battery Pack Replacement Procedure
NOTES:
Do not make your body contact with the terminals on the battery
slot. Failure to follow this may cause poor contact to occur.
If you replace the battery pack in the power-on or standby state,
working data is lost. In the standby state, recover the system from
the standby state, save working data, exit from Windows and turn
off the power of US40a.
Do not install or remove the battery pack from US40a if not
required particularly. Failure to follow this may cause the battery
pack to be defected.
1. Turn off the power of US40a if it is operated.
2. Pull out the plug of the power code from the AC outlet and remove the AC adapter from
US40a.
3. Close the LCD display and turn US40a upside down.
4. Slide the battery removal latch in the arrow direction to the front end by using a ballpoint
pen or the like to release the lock.
