3 The following table describes the fields on this tab.
Interface tab fields
Field Description
InOctets The total number of octets received on the
interface, including framing characters.
OutOctets The total number of octets transmitted out of the
interface, including framing characters.
InUcastPkts The number of packets delivered by this sublayer
to a higher sublayer that were not addressed to a
multicast or broadcast address at this sublayer.
OutUcastPkts The number of packets that higher-level protocols
requested be transmitted that were not addressed
to a multicast address at this sublayer. This total
number includes those packets discarded or
unsent.
InNUcastPkts The number of packets delivered by this sublayer
to a higher (sub)layer, which were addressed to a
multicast or broadcast address at this sublayer.
OutNUcastPkts The total number of packets that higher-level
protocols requested be transmitted, and which
were addressed to a multicast or broadcast
address at this sublayer, including those that were
discarded or not sent.
