Using the sterilizer

Turn the handle and lift it upwards as far as it will go, then pull the
door towards you.
Note: The padlock remains ORANGE (door opening is possible) for
60 seconds after which it turns GREEN again, no longer allowing
the door to be opened. When necessary, press the green icon
again.

Before closing the door, lift the handle all the way, then bring the
door close to the front and turn the handle anticlockwise until it
reaches the vertical position.
Note1: The door can always be closed, regardless of the colour of
the icon, green or orange.
Note2: When a cycle is not being performed, the door can be kept
ajar (not closed and locked) by simply leaving the handle in the
horizontal position.

5.4 Daily tests to check the sterilizer’s performance
During the testing conducted by the manufacturer, in accordance with the regulations, the sterilizer undergoes
thorough calibration tests and verification. These tests guarantee the performance of the device, except in the
case of unauthorized repairs, tampering or improper use.
Although the device has an advanced diagnosis and process evaluation system, the operator has the responsibility
of ensuring the maintenance of performance standards on a daily basis.
The frequency of these checks is determined locally by the healthcare protocols of the place of installation.
The manufacturer recommends running the following tests daily, in the morning, before using the sterilizer:
Vacuum, Helix and Bowie&Dick, described in detail in the following paragraphs.
