(5) Disconnect the suction tube from the CO
2
suction control pinch valve
of the high-flow insufflation unit (see Figure 5.9).

While pushing down the pinch valve with a finger, disconnect
the suction tube by an action like twisting it.
3. Press the insufflation switch of this instrument to perform insufflations for
exhausting the CO
2
from inside the instrument. When the CO
2
in the
instrument runs out, the insufficient gas supply caution is generated and the
insufflations stops automatically.
4. When this instrument enters stop mode, switch it OFF.
• The illumination around the power switch turns off.
• The front panel display also turns off.
5. Unplug the power cord from the hospital-grade power outlet.
6. Care for and store the high flow insufflation unit by referring to Chapter 6,
“Reprocessing, Storage, and Disposal”.
