HIGH FLOW INSUFFLATION UNIT UHI-4
• Do not store the High Flow Insufflation Unit and accessories
in the shipping box, as this can present an infection control
risk.
• The High Flow Insufflation Unit and accessories must be
completely dry prior to storage. Residual moisture can
present an infection control risk.
• Be careful not to get dust or dirt into the gas line of
insufflation unit, cylinder hose and medical gas pipe line
adapter. It will be the cause of the failure.
• Do not store the tube in a sterile package with tears,
inadequate sealing, or water damage. Otherwise, the sterile
condition of the package will be compromised.
• The storage cabinet must be clean, dry, well ventilated and
maintained at ambient temperature. Do not store the tube in
direct sunlight, at high temperature, in high humidity or
exposed to X-rays and/or ultraviolet-rays. These could
damage the tube or present an infection control risk.
• Do not store the High Flow Insufflation Unit in a location
exposed to direct sunlight, ultravioletrays, X-rays, radio
activity or strong electromagnetic radiation (e.g, near
microwave medical treatment equipment, short-wave
medical treatment equipment, MRI equipment, or radio or
cellular phones). Damage to the High Flow Insufflation Unit
may result.
• Store the High Flow Insufflation Unit and accessories in a
place not exposed to direct sunlight by avoiding exposure to
high temperature, high humidity or water splashes.
• Do not apply an excessive force to a cord by bending,
stretching, twisting or crushing it.
• Hitting the High Flow Insufflation Unit and accessories with
an object or handling it violently may cause malfunction.
Always handle the equipment carefully.
Store the sterilized tube in a clean place. Keep it hermetically sealed inside the
sterilization pack during storage.
For the assembling method of the Insufflation Tube (MAJ-
