3 CUSTOMIZATION
3.2.2.5 Setting up Limits for Calculated Parameters
This menu allows you to set up reference and critical
measurement limits for all calculated parameters.
A result that is outside the limits you dene here
will be agged with a single up-arrow if above the
high reference limit, or a single down-arrow if below
the low reference limit. Results above or below the
critical limits will be agged with a double up-/or
down-arrow. A message is included on the printout
explaining each arrow.
NOTE: Whenthepatienttemperaturehasbeen
changed,boththeuncorrectedandcorrected
parameterswillbecheckedagainstthe
limitvaluesprogrammedhereandagged
accordingly.
1. In the main menu, select <System Manager>
and <Setup>. Press <Calculated Limits> on
the <Patient/QC> tab (Fig. 3-31).
2. On the <Reference> tab (Fig. 3-32), select the
parameter you want to change and press
to
enter the new limit value. By default, reference
ranges are enabled.
3. Press to access Pages 2, 3 and 4 with
the remaining parameters (Fig. 3-33).
4. Press to accept the new limit value.
The instrument is preset to the following reference
ranges:
