3.4.1.3 How to change users
To change users, logout of the software and allow the other user to login.
3.4.2 How to change the language on the scan head
You can change the language on the scan head by following these steps:
1.
Log in to the scan head using the touch screen.
2.
Select To admin.
3.
Select Language.
4.
Select a language from the list.
5.
Select X to set the language and close the page.
3.4.3 How to change the language displayed in the review application
All users can change the language displayed in OptosAdvance.
1.
Login to the system.
2.
Select Settings.
3.
Select Preferences > User Preferences.
4.
Select the Preferred Language.
5.
Select Save.
If you are using the Vantage applications the language displayed is taken from the Windows Region and
Language settings of the Viewing PC.
3.4.4 Storing and archiving images
Images are managed using the Vantage Storage application.
Your Administrator is responsible for maintaining the storage and archive settings. You can get help storing and
archiving in the Vantage Storage help files or contact your Optos representative, see Contact us on page59.
You should back-up your image server data at least once a week.
3.4.4.1 Check storage status
The Storage Management Status dialog box shows how much space is available for storing new images. The
status of all storage devices and the size of data held on the disk are displayed.
How to check the storage status
Use the following procedure to check the storage status:
1.
Select Settings menu > Task Settings. The Task Settings dialog box is shown.
2.
The application checks how much storage is available. It may recommend some tasks be carried out
immediately. Select No to each of the recommended archive and cleanup tasks. This is because you
are only running the software to check the storage status.
3.
Select Status menu > Storage Status. The Storage Management Status dialog box is shown.
4.
Select Close when you have completed your checks.
The bar color shows the overall status of the drive:
l Green – sufficient capacity for imaging
l Amber – sufficient capacity for now but cleanup should be done soon
l Red – cleanup is required immediately
