4.1.6 Table requirements
WARNING
DoNOT plug the scan head into a power block or powered table. The scan head must be
plugged directly into a wall socket.
The scan head should be positioned in the middle of the table width. The front of the scan
head should be inline with the front of the table to allow the patient to get into the correct
alignment position.
The scan head and touch screen must be positioned on a table that meets the necessary safety standards. The
table MUST support the weight of the scan head.

Where wheelchair accessibility is required the table must meet wheelchair accessibility standards.
4.1.7 Battery
CAUTION
Do NOT remove the scan head covers. Only Optos trained technical personnel are
permitted to service the device.
The device contains a 3V Lithium coin battery.
4.1.8 Environmental considerations (ambient)
Do NOT operate the device in an environment that exceeds the environmental limits, see Warnings and
cautions on page11.
