5.3 Connecting the Sensors
Before the device can be used to take measurements, the sensors re-
quired for the measurement must be connected.

Connect the sensors in the following sequence:
1 Connect the sensors on the application side (e.g. hydraulic con-
nection).
2 Connect the sensors to a bus cable or a Y-junction (refer to fig-
ure).
3 Connect a bus cable to the corresponding port on the device
which is switched on.
IMPORTANT
The device does not record data from sensors which are connected
while a measurement is in progress.
Restart the measurements in order to record data from sensors just
connected.
Measuring data from sensors which are disconnected while a mea-
surement is in progress is recorded by the device to the moment of
disconnection.
