5.2 Connecting the PIKO SmartController

to a local network
Connecting to an existing WiFi network
If you already have a router with an internet connection at home you can connect your handheld PIKO
SmartController
®
to the existing network.
Just open the WiFi settings in the main menu. Choose your network, enter the password and voila:
You’re online!
Now you can enjoy the features of your Android system that you may already be familiar with from
your smartphone, such as surng the internet, downloading apps from Google PlayStore and others.
Of course you cannot make calls with the PIKO SmartController
®
, as it doesn’t include a SIM card,
though you can use telephone-apps such as Skype.

®
via the settings app
The app „SmartBox
®
settings“ allows you to congure additional settings of your PIKO SmartControl
®
System. You can nd the app in the Android main menu
. It has the same symbol as the PIKO
SmartControl
®
App, but with an additional gear icon on it.
