The fuel vent line and check valve(s) can be tested using
the following special tool:
Mity Vac® Pressure Test Tool

1. Access the fuel vent line and / or check valve.
2. Connect the recommended special tool.
3. Apply vacuum (approximately 5 pumps).
a. If vacuum builds, the fuel vent line might be
pinched or an obstruction is present. Clear the
obstruction or replace the line and / or valve. If the
line is kinked, replace the line.
NOTICE
If the in-tank valve must be replaced, the fuel tank
assembly must be replaced.
b. If the gauge quickly returns to zero, the
components are operating properly.
