HANDLEBAR INSTALLATION
1. Locate the alignment pin on the bottom side of the
lower block

. The pin should line up with the
alignment hole in the upper block

and should face
the front.
2. Properly position the upper block

, and handlebar bracket

3. Loosely install the (4) bolts

, (4) washers
w
, and (4)
nuts

.
4. Tighten the pin side (front) bolts first. Torque the (2)
front bolts to specification.
TORQUE
Handlebar Block Fasteners
14 ft-lbs (19 N·m)
5. Tighten the rear bolts. Torque the (2) rear bolts to
specification.
TORQUE
Handlebar Block Fasteners
14 ft-lbs (19 N·m)
NOTICE
There will be a slight gap on the backside of the
handlebar blocks after installation.
6. If the handlebar was replaced, do the following:
a. Install the LH and RH controls. Torque screw to
specification.
TORQUE
LH Control Switch Screw
18 in-lbs (2 N·m)
b. Install the handlebar grips.
c. Reassemble the headlight pod.
NOTICE
Ensure all vent line, wiring harness, and throttle cable
routings are correct.
