BRAKE SWITCH REPLACEMENT
IMPORTANT
Brake fluid will leak out of the rear brake master
cylinder when the brake switch is replaced. Place a
suitable catch container / rags below the master
cylinder prior to brake switch removal.
1. Disconnect the harness

from the brake switch

2. Loosen and remove the brake switch.
3. Install new brake switch and torque to specification.
TORQUE
Brake Switch (Rear Brake Master Cylinder)
180 in-lbs (20 N·m)
4. Proceed to Rear Brake System Bleeding page 10.22
to complete the bleeding procedure.
