2. Disconnect the taillight from the main wiring harness

3. Remove the taillight fasteners

and the taillight.
4. Install the NEW taillight. Torque fasteners to
specification.
TORQUE
Taillight Fasteners
Torque Until Fully Seated
5. Connect the taillight to the main wiring harness.
6. Align the rear rack with the mounting holes and
torque fasteners to specification. See Rear Rack
Installation page 11.15.
7. Verify proper operation.
LICENSE PLATE LIGHT REPLACEMENT (IN-
TERNATIONAL MODELS)
1. Disconnect the license plate light electrical connector

from the main wiring harness

2. Remove the license plate light from the license plate
bracket.
3. Install the new license plate light to the license plate
bracket.
4. Connect the license plate light electrical connector to
the main wiring harness.
