INTAKE REPLACEMENT
1. Remove the following body components. See the
Body / Frame chapter for component removal.
• Seat

• RH Upper Side Panel

• LH Upper Side Panel

2. Remove the breather hose
r
from the side of the
airbox.
3. Disconnect wire harness from the intake air temp
sensor
t
and ignition coil

.
4. Remove the (2) screws
u
and washers retaining the
lower portion of the airbox to the frame.
5. Disconnect the spark plug wires.
6. Remove the bolts

retaining the ECU to the ECU
bracket mount
