7. Install the cover fasteners and torque to
specification.
TORQUE
Rear Gearcase Cover Fasteners
19 ft-lbs (26 N·m)
8. Proceed to “Rear Gearcase Installation” before
installing the coupler, lock washer and retaining nut.
Doing so will allow you to properly torque the coupler
retaining nut.
