Tray Sealing Solutions
WARNING: -
Before attempting any cleaning of the machine, ensure the air and electrical supplies are turned off
and isolated elsewhere.
To clean the machine the top tool should be removed and kept free from any water, a damp cloth,
or non-abrasive brush can be used to clean the seal profiles.
A damp cloth should be used to clean down the machine using a minimal amount of water with your
sites recommended cleaning solution.
After cleaning down, check nuts, bolts, screws and other fastenings are tight.
CAUTION: -
Under no circumstances should Proseal machines be hosed / pressure washed down or cleaned
with large of quantities of water.
TOP TOOL
1. Remove the top tool from the machine.
Remove any solid matter from the profiles and around the blades. These may be cleaned using a
“Scotchbrite” abrasive cloth or similar. If the profile has a special coating (i.e. Teflon) the profile
should only be wiped clean as any abrasives may damage the coating.
CAUTION: -
The blades are sharp, care must be taken when cleaning underside of top tool.
The tool may still be very hot, allow it to cool before cleaning.
2. Wipe the tool with a damp cloth with your sites recommended cleaning solution and store away
from the general wash down area of the machine. Be careful around the electrical connections and
heater mat. Excessive use of water may cause damage to the electrical components in the tool.
BASE TOOLS
1. Remove both base tools from machine.
2. Wash down tools with hot water and your sites recommended cleaning solution.
3. Rinse off and leave to dry.
NOTE: As the base tools do not contain any electrical components, more liberal amounts of water
may be used.
