To mount a Vivaldi antenna onto its fixture (see Figure 7-57), proceed as described in
the Chapter 7.8, "Mounting Vivaldi antennas on fixtures", on page 117.
You can mount the antenna holder at the inside rear wall of the chamber, either left or
right.
The mounting procedure is described in Chapter 7.6.6, "Mounting the antenna holder
into the chamber", on page 111. The configuration is described in Chapter 7.10, "Con-
figuring Vivaldi antennas", on page 119 and Chapter 7.10.2, "Defining antenna posi-
tions on the antenna holder", on page 128.
The antenna holder is not a serviceable part. If it is defective or not working correctly,
replace it.

6.3.1 Vivaldi antenna R&S TS-F24-V1
The Vivaldi broadband antenna R&S TS-F24-V1 with SMP connector features excel-
lent transmission properties in the frequency range from 0.7 GHz to 14 GHz. The
antenna is based on a printed board with a structured metal coating that spreads out in
a logarithmic shape. The delivery includes an antenna fixture kit and two RF cables,
each with SMP (female) and SMA (male) connectors, length 40 cm and 55 cm, respec-
tively.
