6 Preparations
6.1 Required Accessories
To start a print job, as well as for the post-processing of the
component, you need the following accessories:
– x_wash or an ultrasonic cleaning device
– x_cure or an alternative post-exposure unit
– Disposable nitrile gloves, spec. as “chemical resistant”
– Streak-free glass cleaner
– Container for disposing of used chemicals
– Microfibre cleaning cloths
– Waste container for cleaning cloths, lockable
– Reservoir box (lockable, storage of material reservoirs)
– Paper towels
– Isopropyl alcohol > 99%, min. of 5 litres
– Work surface
– Printing accessories (→ Chapter 6.2)
– PC, for the creation of print data (→ Chapter 6.3)
To start a print job, you need the following print accessories:
– 1 Build platform
– 1 Material reservoir
– Printing material in original container
Up-to-date information on printing materials, such as
safety data sheets, technical data sheets and manuals
are available in our Knowledge Center. To access this,
scan the QR code on the reference plate on your
machine or log in manually:

The following IT preparations need to be made for generating and
transferring the print data to the machine:
1. PC Hardware (Windows requirements)
– Operating system: Windows 8.1 and higher (64 bit)
– Processor: min. 2.5-2.9 GHz
– Main memory: min. 8 GB
– Graphics card: min. 1 GB GPU with a bandwidth of
29 Gbit/s and compatible with DirectX 11
– Hard disk space: 6 GB
– Network connection between PC and machine (for
example over a router)
2. PC Software
– Netfabb Rapid Shape (on USB stick or in Knowledge
Center:

– TeamViewer Host (www.teamviewer.com)
