7.9.3 Automatic Refill: Replacing the Material Bottle (empty > full)
NOTE!
Wearing protective gloves protects the skin from contact
with skin damaging materials. During work steps in
which you work with printing materials or cleaning
agents, we always recommend wearing protective
gloves.
Figure 27: Note the hose cut-out
Proceed as follows to replace an empty material bottle with a new
material bottle of the same indication:
1. Wear protective gloves on your hands.
2. Open the middle hood.
3. Open the new material bottle and set the bottle cap aside.
4. Place the new material bottle next to the empty bottle.
5. Pull the stainless-steel tube out of the empty bottle carefully and
insert it into the new bottle immediately.
Take care that none of
the material drips down!
6. Take the empty bottle out of the bottle holder (material) and
close the bottle with the right cap.
7. Insert the new bottle into the bottle holder.
8. Insert the hose into the hose cut-out on the left-hand side of the
mounting plate and clamp it behind the lug provided (see fig.
on the left). Close the middle hood again.
9. Dispose of the empty material bottle as prescribed in
accordance with local waste disposal regulations.
When replacing a material bottle with the same
indication, you do not need to clean or replace the
material feed hose.
As soon as you want to change the indication, in
contrast, the hose has to be cleaned or replaced to
avoid mixing materials and possibly colours.
