Besidessupportingtheuseof consolemanagementinterfacethroughtheconnectionofnullmodem, thesystemalsosupports
theSSHonlineconnectionforthesetup.Whenusinganullmodemtoconnecttothesystemconsole,we donotneedtoenter
administrator’spasswordtoentertheconsolemanagementinterface.
Theusernam
eandpasswordisneededinsteadwhenconnectingthesystembySSH.
Theusernameis “admin”and th e defaultpasswordis also“admin”,which is thesame as fortheweb managementinterface.
Passwordcanalsobechangedhere.Ifadministratorsforgettheirpasswordandareunabletologintothemanagementinterface
fromthewebortheremoteend oftheSSH,theycanstillusethenullmodemtoconnecttotheconsolemanagementinterface
andsettheadministrator’spasswordagain.

Caution:
Althoughitdoesnotrequireausernameandpasswordfortheconnectionviatheserialport,thesa
memanagementinterfacecan
beaccessedviaSSH.Therefore,werecommendyoutoimmediatelych angetheRAYTALKRA‐696Adminusernameandpassword
afteryourfirstlogintothesystem.


