Using the PJL command
To enter the password for a password protected PDF file, use the following command and value in
conjunction with the PJL command.
• Command: SET
• Value: PDFPASSWORD
• Example: @PJL SET PDFPASSWORD=the PDF password
Up to 32 ASCII characters (0x20 - 0x7E (Except 0x22)) can be entered as the PDF password.
Using the Control Panel
To enter a PDF password using the control panel, select [Change PDF Password] on [PDF Menu]
under [Print Settings].
Using Web Image Monitor
To enter the PDF password using Web Image Monitor, select [Set Password], and then set [PDF
Temporary Password].
