2. OPTICS
2.1 OVERALL
The CCD [A] which corresponds to a 300 dpi pixel density is used in the
VT2200.
The light reflected from the original is sent to the CCD through a lens.
The CCD changes the reflected light into an analog electrical signal which
will then be converted into a 4-bit digital data in the A/D conversion PCB will
then convert. The main control PCB changes the 4-bit data into a 1-bit data
to drive the thermal head.
