To open the Embedded Web Server through Wi-Fi Direct
1. From the printer control panel, touch or swipe down the tab
at the top of the screen to open
the Dashboard, and then touch (Wi-Fi Direct).
2. Touch
(Settings).
3. If the display shows that Wi-Fi Direct is Off, touch Wi-Fi Direct and then switch it on.
4. From your wireless computer, turn wireless on, search for and connect to the Wi-Fi Direct name, for
example: DIRECT-**-RI IJM C180F (where ** are the unique characters to identify your printer).
5. Enter the Wi-Fi Direct password when prompted.
6. In a supported web browser on your computer, type the following address: http://192.168.223.1.
7. On the EWS Home page, click the Sign In button on the top right corner of the page.
8. Enter the PIN from the label on your printer, and click Submit.
NOTE: The PIN label can be found inside the front door.
