ENERGY STAR® Program Requirements for Imaging Equipment
The ENERGY STAR® Program Requirements for Imaging Equipment encourage energy conservation by
promoting energy efficient computers and other office equipment.
The program backs the development and dissemination of products that feature energy saving functions.
It is an open program in which manufacturers participate voluntarily.
Sleep Mode (Energy Saver mode)
If this machine remains idle for a specified period, it automatically reduces its electrical consumption. To exit
Sleep (Energy Saver) mode, press
(the Power button).

NOTE
: Power Consumption and Recovery Time may differ depending on the conditions and environment of the
machine.
Even if its main power switch is turned to OFF, this machine will consume low levels of electricity. To stop this
machine consuming electricity, disconnect the power cord from the wall outlet.
