Cancel a print job
Cancel any pending or in-progress print jobs from the printer control panel, or cancel print jobs from the
computer or mobile device that sent the print job.
Cancel a print job from the printer control panel
Cancel the current print job from the printer control panel.
NOTE
: Canceling from the control panel stops only the current job. It does not cancel any other pending print
jobs in the queue.
1. Touch X.
If you are unable to cancel the print job from the control panel, cancel it from the computer or mobile device
that you used to send the job.
Cancel a print job from a computer
Cancel the current print job on a Windows or Mac computer.
NOTE
: You can only cancel a print job on the computer you used to send the job.
Cancel a print job (Windows)
Cancel a print job from the print queue in Windows.
1. Open the print queue.
• If a printer icon displays in the notification area, double-click the icon to open the print queue.
• If a printer icon does not display, search for and open Printers & scanners, select your printer, and
then click Open queue.
2. Right-click the print job you want to cancel, and then click Cancel.
If the print job stays in queue after canceling it, go to Print jobs stuck in print queue for additional
troubleshooting.
