Step 2: Connect the printer in Printer Assistant
Reconnect the printer with the Ricoh software.
1. Open Ricoh Printer Assistant again.
The Device Setup & Software window displays.
2. Click Connect a new device, and then follow the on-screen instructions to complete the printer setup.
Step 3: Make sure the printer is set as default
Confirm your printer is set as the default printer in Devices and Printers.
1. Return to the Devices and Printers window, and then make sure your printer is set as the default printer.
2. If your printer icon does not include a green check mark, right-click the icon and set it as default.
Step 4: Restart the computer and the printer
Restart the computer and the printer after reinstalling the driver to finish setting up the software in Windows.
1. Turn off the printer.
2. Close all running programs on your computer, and then restart your computer.
3. Turn on the printer.
4. Open Printer Assistant.
NOTE: If necessary, repeat these steps if additional printer names display in Printer Assistant again.
