Can I change printer settings if I use the built-in driver?
If your printer is on a network, open the printer homepage through a web browser to manage settings, get
updates, and perform maintenance tasks.
1. Make sure the printer is connected to the same network as your computer.
2. Find the printer IP address.
1. From the printer control panel, touch or swipe down the tab
at the top of the screen to
open the Dashboard, and then touch
(Wireless).
3. Type the IP address into the web browser address line, and then press Enter.
4. If a login or certificate window displays, complete the information to finish opening the EWS.
• If a website security certificate displays, click Continue to open the printer homepage.
• If a login window opens, type admin for the username, and then type the PIN found on the label
located inside the front door of the printer, or the password set by the printer administrator.
The printer homepage opens.
