Setting Up Passwords Initial Configuration

5. When the RS 3000, RS 3100 or RS 3200 finishes booting, enter the following commands (when
prompted, answer
yes):
6. The User, Enable, and Diag access mode passwords are now reset to the default “blank” values.
7. Enter new passwords for the User, Enable, and Diag access modes.
boot <image name> skipconfig=yes
rs-boot> boot /pc-flash/boot/ros80 skipconfig=yes
rs> enable
rs# copy startup to scratchpad
rs# config
rs(config)# system set password login none
rs(config)# system set password enable none
rs(config)# system set password diag none
rs(config)# save startup
