AX10 Palletizing Solution
Anchoring the Solution
The Robotiq Palletizing Solution must be anchored for it to be used.
Contact Robotiq if anchoring is not possible.
WARNING
The transport, lifting, and moving of the Palletizing Solution should be done by qualified professionals.
Failure to do so may result to machine damage, bodily injury or even death.
CAUTION

Make sure to follow all the safety rules and regulations of your workplace and wear all recommended
personal protective equipment in accordance with your workplace's safety standards, including:

Safety glasses

Hearing protection
l
Hard hats
l
Steel-toe boots
l
Dust mask
l
Always lift heavy objects with your legs, not your back. If you can not lift an object alone, ask for help
or find another method to move it.

Use a vacuum cleaner if needed.
1. Choose the anchors:
l
With the anchors provided with the Solution, it should be installed in 28 MPa undamaged concrete (minimum).
l
With other anchors, each anchor should be able to withstand the following forces (as a minimum, considering that the
rated values of fasteners are 25% of the ultimate value). It is the responsibility of the end-user to ensure the final
anchorage is resistant enough.

Shear strength 1400 N Ultimate value of 5600 N, with a 4:1 safety factor
2. Move the Solution to its final position.

Make sure the layout is suitable and all distances are respected. Please refer to the Palletizing Cell Layout section for
additional information.

The Solution must be placed on a flat and level floor. If it is not the case, use shims to level it.
3. Using the provided drill bit, make six (6) holes based on the anchoring pattern.
