4.7.4.Screw Head Clearance Knob
The screw head clearance knob can be found at the front of the Screw Feeder, more specifically above the end of the rail. It allows
adjusting the height of the screw head clearance plate to prevent screwsfrom overlapping, or to separate screws that become
overlapped while travelling on the rail (e.g., countersunk head screws).

Turning the screw head clearance knob clockwise raisesthe screw head clearance plate.

Turning the screw head clearance knob counterclockwise lowersthe screw head clearance plate.
Best practice for adjusting screw head clearance:
l
Turn the screw head clearance knob counterclockwise so as to raise the screw head clearance plate.
l
Place one or several screwsin the rail; refer to the Rail Knob section and/or BrushKnob section should you need to adjust the
width of the rail and/or height of the brush assembly, respectively.
l
Lower the screw head clearance plate enough so that no screw can go through.
l
Slowly raise the screw head clearance plate until screwscan travel freely underneath it with minimal play.
