10.6 Deleting patient data
This feature allows you to delete all patient-related data
(patient lists and results). This may become necessary to
comply with data protection and privacy policies when
sending a meter back to the manufacturer or passing it
on to another facility.
To ensure deleted data is not transferred back through an
unwanted automatic synchronization with the DMS,
remove the battery pack immediately after deleting
patient data.

Be aware that the function Delete Patient irrevocably
deletes all data once you touch to confirm. The
system will delete any patient results regardless of
whether they have been synchronized with a data
management system or not. Therefore, always ensure
that you have downloaded all relevant patient results
before you use this function.
