MAINTENANCE MANUAL LINE
If the oil pressure falls below the minimum value up to max. 0.5 bar (7.25 psi) and for max.
1 min., the cause must be determined.

1 Inspect all oil lines for restrictions and clear passage.

Verify oil quantity.
3 Inspect pressure sensor and connector.

Inspect indicating instrument to specifications of the manufacturer, replace
as required.

Inspect crankcase pressure (See Installation Manual, latest issue.).

If no cause for the low oil pressure is found after the above checks, carry
out an oil change.

If after the previous checks and oil change the oil pressure is still too low,
repair or overhaul the engine in accordance with the BRP-Rotax instruc-
tions for continued airworthiness.

Inspect all systems for correct functioning.

Carry out detailed inspection of the affected engine components.
ATTENTION
When re-installing the oil cooler and oil lines, the complete lubrication system
(inclusive oil tank) must be flushed.
Minimum oil pressure in flight more then 0.5 bar (7.25 psi).
Consequent damage can be expected if the oil pressure falls below the minimum value by
more than 0.5 bar (7.25 psi).

1 The whole cooling system must be inspected, repaired or overhauled in ac-
cordance with the BRP-Rotax instructions for continued airworthiness.
The crankshaft must be replaced.
2 Carry out detailed inspection of the affected engine components.

Cut oil filter housing and inspect filter mat for foreign matter.
4
Inspect all further systems for correct functioning.
