Signal Generator Test Fixture
1. U1 is the 100Hz Oscillator with a fixed output at J3 and J4.
Output signal is approximately 2V P-to-P.
2. U3 is the 10Khz Oscillator with a fixed output at J3 and J4.
Output signal is approximately 2V P-to-P.
3. MINIJACK 1 selects the 100Hz of 10Khz output.
+12V fed into the MINIJACK1 selects the 10Khz oscillator output.
0V fed into the MINIJACK1 selects the 100hz oscillator output.
4. U5 is the Variable Oscillator output at J10 and J11.
5. Connect a jumper across the middle pins of J8 and J9.
6. Connect a 12V 1.5A power pack at J5.
7. Connect an oscilloscope at J11.
Note: All Adjustment Controls are Blue in Color.
8. Set R48 and R49 Controls to mid range.
9. Set R46 Control to produce a 3V P-to-P signal
10. Set R42 Control to produce a 5Khz signal.
11. Remove the Oscilloscope Probes.
Note: You are setting U5 to output a 5Khz sine wave at 3V P-to-P.
12. J3 and J4 are the Fixed Generator Output jacks. 100Hz and 10Khz.
13. J10 and J11 are the Variable Generator Output jacks. 1Hz – 100Khz.
14. J1 and J2 are the input source you connect a CD player output.
15. MINIJACK3 selects the Fixed Generator Output or CD input which is sent out
the jacks J3 and J4. 0VDC selects Generator, 12V selects CD input.
16. MINIJACK1 selects the 100Hz or 10Khz Generator to be sent out
the jacks J3 and J4. 0V selects 100Hz, 12V selects 10Khz.
17. J10 and J11 are a constant output signal.
