Duringdriving,themovingspeedofpassengersisthesame
asthatofthevehicle.
Whenhead-oncollisionaccidentsoremergencybrakes
occur,passengersinthevehiclewillnotstop,butcontinue
tomoveforwardatthespeedbeforecollisionuntilthey
bumpintoanobject.
Thisobjectmaybethesteeringwheel,instrumentpanel,
windshieldoranyobjectinthevehiclewhichisinthe
wayofforwardmovement,andpassengerswithseatbelts
correctlywornwillbewellprotected.
Whentheseatbeltisworncorrectly,itwillbelocked
automaticallyincollisionaccidentsoremergencybrakes
toreduceyourspeedtogetherwiththevehicle,soas
topreventtheout-of-controlmovementwhichmay
causeseriousinjurytodriverandpassengers.Underthe
protectionofseatbelt,youwillhavelongerdistanceand
moretimetostopmoving,andthestrongestboneinyour
bodywillbeartheimpactforce.Thatiswhyitisimportant
tofastentheseatbeltcorrectly.
Whenminortrafcaccidentoccurs,tryingtoshoreup
yourbodywitharmsisverydangerous.Eventhelow
speedcollisionwillgenerateforcethatarmsandhandscan
notsupport,therefore,seatbeltsmustbeworncorrectly
duringdriving.
