WarningInformation
Thevehicleinformationdisplayusestwomethodsto
conveywarninginformationtothedriver.Theseare:
•Amessageaccompaniedbyasymbol
•Aviewofthevehiclewithanopendoor ,bonnetor
boot/tailgate
Somewarningmessagesarere-enforcedbyanaudible
warning.
WarningMessagesandSymbols
T wotypesofwarningmessagesaredisplayed:
•Messagesre-enforcedbyaredoryellowsymbolandthe
illuminationofawarninglight.
•Messagessupportedbyaredoryellowsymbolonly.
Whenafaultisdetected,theappropriatewarningmessage
togetherwithasymbolwillappearinthedisplay.The
messagewilldisappearafterseveralseconds.Ifthewarning
isnotsupportedbyawarninglight,theSystemFault
Warningwilldisplayinyelloworred.Thestaticsymbolof
thewarningcanbeaccessedbytheoperationofthetrip
computerswitch.Ifawarningindicatorisalsoilluminated,
thiswillremainilluminated,untilthefaultisrectied.
