•Beforestartingtheengine,ensurethegearleverisin
P(Park)orN(Neutral)position,bothfootbrakeand
ElectricParkBrake(EPB)isapplied.
•Aftertheengineisstarted,keepbothbrakesapplied
beforeandwhilstmovingthegearlevertotherequired
gearposition.
•SwitchofftheEPB,holdthefootbrakeuntilyouare
readytodrive.Onaatroad,an'automatic'will
tendtocreepforwardorbackwardwithoutthrottle
application,assoonasthefootbrakeisreleased.
•DONOTcoastinNposition,thisincorrectoperation
willdamagethetransmission.
