Thedeploymentofairbagsdoesnotdependonthevehicle
speed,butontheobjectthatthevehiclehits,angleof
impactandtherateatwhichthecarchangesspeedasa
resultofacollision.Whentheimpactforceofcollision
isabsorbedordispersedtovehiclebody,airbagsmay
notdeploy;however,airbagsmaysometimesexplode
accordingtoimpactcondition.Therefore,thedeployment
ofairbagsshallnotbejudgedbasedontheseverityof
vehicledamage.
FrontAirbags
Conditionsdescribedblowororsimilaronesmaynot
causethedeploymentoffrontalairbags.
•Theimpactdirectionisnotinthecenterofvehicle.
•Haveafrontalcollisionwithsolidpoles,trafcsignpost.
