Drivingthecarwiththeengineoillevel
ABOVEtheuppermark,orBELOWthelower
markonthedipstick,willdamagetheengine.
T akecaretoavoidspillingengineoilontoa
hotengine–aremayresult!
Checktheoillevelweeklyandtopupwithoilifnecessary.
Ideallytheoillevelshouldbecheckedwiththeenginecold
andthecarrestingonlevelground.However,ifthecaris
inuseandtheengineisalreadywarm,waitforatleasttwo
minutesafterswitchingoffbeforecheckingthelevel.
1Withdrawthedipstickandwipethebladeclean.
2Slowlyinsertthedipstickandwithdrawagainto
checkthelevel,whichshouldNEVERbeallowedto
fallbelowthe‘MIN’markonthedipstick.
3T otopup,Screwofftheoilllercapandaddoilto
maintainalevelbetweenthe‘MAX’and‘MIN’marks
onthedipstick.
4Waitforveminutesandthenrecheckthelevel,
addingmoreoilifnecessary–DONOTOVERFILL!
5Finally,ensurethedipstickandllercaparereplaced.
