Theuseofthekick-downfunctiononthe
slippyroadsurfacemaycausethewheel-spin,
whichmayleadtoasideslipdanger.
InDposition,depresstheacceleratorpedaloncefully
(thisisknownasKick-down)toprovidegoodacceleration
performanceforovertaking.Atcertainspeeds,itwill
allowthetransmissiontodownshiftaproperlowgear
immediately,andprovidefastacceleration.Oncethe
acceleratorpedalisreleased,itwillresumethenormalgear
shiftspeed(basedonthevehiclespeedandaccelerator
pedalposition).
VehicleStart
Depressthebrakepedal,andyoumustputthegearlever
intoPorNpositiontostarttheengine.Aftershiftinginto
therequiredgear ,releasethebrakepedaluntilthegearis
completelyengaged,thendepresstheaccelerationpedalto
startdriving.
DrivingonHill
Incaseoftrafcjamforashortstay
ontheuphillroad,DONOTfrequently
usetheacceleratorpedaltokeepthe
vehiclefromsliding,andthiswillresultin
transmissionoverheatingorevendamagethe
transmission.
UphillStart
'AssistStarting'isafunctionofEPBtopreventslidingfrom
steephillstart.Whenyoufastenyourseatbelt,depress
thebrakepedal,switchontheEPB,movegearlevelto
therequiredgear(D/R/W/S),thenreleasethefootbrake.
Onceyoudepresstheacceleratorpedalandgetreadyto
start,theEPBwillbeautomaticallyswitchofftoassist
starting.

tostartonsteephillconveniently.Fordetail,pleaserefer

Note:Evenwiththehelpofassistfunction,therewill
stillbetheriskofslideafterexceedingthephysical
